Long time gone...

Well I guess since Facebook is such wonderful thing that most people have been using these days I have ventured away from the blogging scene...but I do enjoy it so heres to trying it again...

Well Mr. Thomas Alan will be 2 in less than a month and I have not even STARTED planning the party yet...But this is what I do best...PROCRASTINATE!! Tommy is growing like a WEED...he is in 3T clothes and size 7 shoes, proving to be a lot like his father's side in that department! He is talking UP A STORM...my mother tells me he gets it from me...ya think?! :) Putting words together to form sentences and repeating things that perhaps shouldn't be repeated...haha. But he keeps us on our toes and is quite the little lover(when he wants to be)!! I hear from many people that he talks REALLY well for his age, which makes this Mama PROUD :) He LOVES motors, mud trucks, tractors, cars, and MUD PUDDLES...proving to be a TRUE boy! Every day is an adventure when you're with him which I LOVE. I absolutely love being a mother and I know Tom loves being a father! Tommy is also quite the polite mister saying please for everything and thank you a bazillion times after getting what he's asked for or recieving a gift which I am VERY thankful for! I just love to hear his little "pease" and "tank you"!! I am trying to figure out how to post a video so I can show some of the funny ones I have of him for those of you that haven't entered the Facebook world yet(I tend to rely on it a bit much!!).

I am still at the Pharmacy and loving it...just picked up an extra day so that will be nice. I also help out at the gas station in Wahkon 1 day a weekend once in a while...I actually seen one of the Gauthier boys(Mary Lou's youngest) there the other weekend...I hope he had a fun time up here :) AND caught some fish.

Tom is still logging...these rainy days have proved to be difficult for the logging industry though. Can't log when the semi's can't get down the roads due to mud!! He went out bow hunting this weekend in hopes for "the buck"...no luck yet! But it did JUST begin...which also is the start of the HUNTING SEASON...duck, grouse, deer....you name it he does it!

I guess that is all for now...surrounding ourselves with love and keeping busy with life ;) Hope all is well with you and yours :)

Tubes in...adnoids out!

Well we were up at a quarter to five this morning getting ready to head to Princeton. We had to be to the hospital by seven. Tommy was in the O.R. by about 815. Tom went with him while he fell asleep. They were putting tubes in his ears for all the ear infections he has been having. They also removed his adnoids. He did very well. He was very sleepy afterwards, but is perking up quite well. Tom and I both have tomorrow off to spend with the little man. It is such a relief to have it behind us!

All else is well. We are all keeping busy, that's for sure :) Hope all is well with everyone!

Until next time...

We didn't fall off the face of the earth...

Well hello and Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had Happy Holidays as well. Well things have been kind of hectic lately. I quit my job at Woodlands National Bank to work part time as a pharmacy technician at the Onamia Drug Store. Which allows me to....drum roll please...GO BACK TO SCHOOL!! I started January 4th for Health Information Technician. I am doing all online classes through Rasmussen College. I only work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so have plenty of time to study, study, study....hahaha, right...who am I trying to kid?!

Since turning one, Thomas Alan has been quite the hand full! Let's just say the kid doesn't miss a beat. He has 7 teeth, grew out of size 5 shoes in about 3 weeks, learns more each day(currently, everything is a fish...Thanks Grandma Shelly =}), runs EVERYWHERE, anpd becomes a little more evil each day! haha He likes to keep us on our toes, I guess. I enjoy being able to spend more time with him. We have a lot of fun together....when he isn't trying to cause trouble!! He also LOVES to talk on the phone. We don't get very good reception on our cell phones and have to stand by the door...Tommy likes to take his phone and go stand by the door and say "Hi Dadddy" or "Hi Papa" and then babble some more, hang up, and walk away from the door. Only to turn around and do it again. He is a lot of fun right now and can only imagine how much more fun it is going to get!!

Tommy is going in February 16th to get tubes in his ears and his adnoids taken out. He has had several ear infections for only being a year old! I feel like he has had one every month for the last year!! Poor thing, handles it like a champ though. I wouldn't know if he didn't wrench on his ears so much. So hopefully that will be the end of ear infections for us!

Well that is the update for us! Hope all is well with everyone else. I will try to get some new pictures up in the next couple of days. Sorry about the the delay in the update!!
